How to Install extundelete software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

extundelete software package provides utility to recover deleted files from ext3/ext4 partition, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install extundelete

extundelete is installed in your system.

Make ensure the extundelete package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep extundelete *

You will get with extundelete package name, version, architecture and description in a table
